PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Are you paying your employees what they're worth? In today’s competitive environment, employees are more very well educated about the current salary rates in their location and industry. If you want your business to remain competitive, and retain top talent, you need to stay one-step ahead of your competition, and have a solid pay strategy.This program will introduce the fundamental concepts of how and why businesses review market compensation and how to design a compensation system that is competitive, provides fair pay, and incentivizes employees and teams to meet organizational goals. The program will include:
Ø building a total rewards philosophy
Ø defining compensation terms
Ø developing incentive programs
Ø understanding the competitive market
Ø and building compensation structures.
The goal of this program is to provide the tools to help your business develop a compensation program for staff, middle management, and executives and maintain it for sustainable success.
About the Speaker: Debra Antonelli is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources with over 21 year of strategic and tactical human resource management experience. As President of Delark HR Solutions, Debra and her team provide HR expertise in HR planning, employee relations, recruitment, training and development, human resource compliance, job analysis and design, performance management, and compensation bench-marking and analysis. For over 10 years, Debra served as a board director for the Capital Region Human Resource Association and the Capital Region Recruiters Network, including holding the position of Board President for both organizations. Currently Debra serves as a board director for the Women's Employment and Resource Center. She is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management, World at Work, CRHRA, CRRN, Business Council, and regularly attends local, state, and national conferences.
Debra has served as guest speaker for area organizations and programs, including Executive Manager Training Program, Job Service Employer Committee, New York Charter Schools Association, American Payroll Association, CRHRA, United New York Ambulance Network, Northeast Subcontractors Association, NYS Dispute and Resolution Association, and local Human Resource and Chamber Associations.
